BRINDLEY HOUSE, NEWHALL STREET, BIRMINGHAM

This attractive apartment block was formerly the BT offices, beside the landmark BT Tower, in Birmingham. It was renovated externally by M21 Systems Ltd, as part of the total works overseen by Balfour Beatty Construction.

The System used for this project was an Envirowall External Wall Insulation and Rendering System and the building is a good example of how striking the Self Coloured Render finishes can be, as seen well in these photographs.

The application of the External Wall Insulation System has improved the thermal properties (U Value) of the external walls, reducing heat loss and improving energy efficiencies. As a result of the works, the building has been transformed to conform with 21st Century energy standards and given a 21st Century aesthetic.
